• Active Secret Clearance • 1-2 years of Linux Administration experience • Experience with a monitoring tool (team is currently using Nagios) • Basic scripting experience (Bash, Python, PHP, etc.)


• Monitor distributed computing stacks and respond quickly to alerts • Discover patterns that suggest potential failures and develop ways to eliminate those risks • Perform Linux patching, application patching, and security remediation for deployments • Administer large distributed applications and clusters using Linux skills • Create new monitoring checks and adjust them to correct threshold when needed • Operate within a JIRA queue • Work within operational support runbooks and improve documentation as needed
