100% Remote AWS Cloud Support Engineer

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated 100% Remote AWS Cloud Support Engineer to join our client in the utilities, and renewable resource industry. This engagement supporting cutting edge initiatives regarding Renewable Energy Data and IoT to address global issues that will positively impact the fabric of our environment for many years to come! The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Job Requirements:
– 3+ years in a support role, or individual contributor role, with great working knowledge of AWS and their services
– Experience with the following AWS services: Elastic Compute, VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) provisioning
– Automation exposure related to building, testing, deploying, and facilitating continuous integration and continuous delivery utilizing AWS Code Build
– Experience with containerization using AWS EKS for Kubernetes container services

Job Responsibilities:
– Provide support for internal users for both basic, and high-level assistance regarding AWS
– Utilize proprietary tools, and collaborate with peers to determine best service offerings
– Capacity to deliver support around systems shortcomings, scaling factors, boundary conditions and/or reasons for architectural decisions
– Debug and resolve the root cause(s) to difficult support problems that may involve multiple services or cross into other domain areas
– Ability to identify flaws, and proactively devise remedies and implement solutions
