Secret Cleared VOIP Engineer

Summit Human Capital is looking to hire a Secret Cleared VOIP Engineer for one of our federal customers. The ideal candidate will be able to go onsite in Chantilly and have to follow:

Requirements / Top Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of related network engineering/IT experience (experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable)
• Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
• Programming experience with the devices
• Familiarity with Avaya and Ribbon VoIP solutions
• Familiarity and understanding of obtaining accreditation (ATO) for new VoIP implementation
• Experience with replacing TDM solution with IPbased version
• PSTN circuits (PRI, T1, SIP, analog, FXO, FXS)
• Network Routing / Switching
• Voice gateways and protocols
• Active Secret clearance (required), Interim is acceptable
• Certifications (must be 8570 compliant with a combination of the following):

• CCNP
• CCNA
• Security +
• Server +

Desired Skills:

• Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) (preferred)
• Cisco Unity/Unity Connection/Unified Messaging (Preferred)
• Cisco UC on UCS (preferred)
• VMWare 6.x (preferred)
• Cisco Telepresence (preferred)
• CCNP/CCNP Voice preferred
• VMWare configuration experience preferred
• Windows Server administration experience preferred
• Network troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities:

• Installation and configuration of routers, switches, and VOIP infrastructure across multiple enterprise environments/client locations, both remotely and onsite
• Perform advanced configurations on server infrastructures (mixed virtualized and physical environments)
• Create and maintain detailed diagrams and technical documentation of enterprise voice networks
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, MPLS and general network theory required
• Lead device maintenance/firm ware updates/installation activities
