100% Remote AWS Security Cloud Engineer

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Security Engineer to support one of our largest clients in the Fintech industry. This is a long-term contract engagement maintaining secure use of AWS services across the enterprise and collaborating with AWS to explore new product offerings.

Requirements:

· 5+ years of experience of large-scale cloud security leveraging cloud technologies (primarily AWS)

· 5+ years of development and implementation of IAM best practices and security architecture

· Experience with AWS Service Control Policies

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field

Desired:

· Experience working with Terraform and other DevOps tools

· Cloud certification preferably in Solutions Architecture

· Experience working in FinTech

Responsibilities:

· Conduct security assessments of the cloud infrastructure including controls, potential opportunities for internal strengthening, and implementation plans

· Work with compliance teams to understand most recent updates to client standards

· Partner with appropriate stakeholders to help design and implement extensive IAM architectures while helping to recommend best practices, multi-factor authentication, and more.

· Stay up to date on the latest service offerings and industry trends to stay in front of any potential vulnerabilities
