Level 1 Help Desk Engineer

Summit Human Capital is seeking a Level 1 Help Desk Support Technician in Richmond, VA to join our rapidly growing client in the insurance industry. This is a hybrid remote position. This candidate should thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and possess a passion for supporting multiple clients and end-users with their IT needs. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Must Have Skills:

· 2-3 Years of proven Desktop Support or Help Desk experience

· Experience responding to Tier 1 tickets and supporting end users remotely

· Extensive windows 10 support, hardware, and software troubleshooting experience

· 2+ years of Customer Service experience

· Microsoft 365 experience

Desired:

· Any relative certifications or degree including CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA

· Experience with Active Directory/O365/Intune administration, and/or Jira

· Familiarly with network troubleshooting

· Experience with major hardware vendors (Dell, Lenovo, Client)

Responsibilities:

· This person will be working in a fast-paced and customer first environment providing support to company facilities and remote employees nationwide.

· Will be the front-line support for end users on problems relating to hardware, software, and peripherals.

· Troubleshoot and repair/resolve various issues/requests for peripheral devices using ticketing system.

· Add detailed work notes to all assigned tickets until resolved or escalated to another team.

· Have strong communication with any open incidents and communicate once the issue has been resolved.
