Biomedical Equipment Technician II

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Biomedical Equipment Technician to support our client in Fredericksburg, VA. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

· 5+ years in a hospital or military biomedical setting

· Strong customer service skills; comfortable in patient care environments

· Proficient in electrical troubleshooting of biomedical equipment

· Associate's degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment

· CBET certification required

Desired:

· A+, Security+, or Network+ certifications

Responsibilities:

· Perform inspections, maintenance, and safety checks on biomedical equipment

· Train and support BMET Level 1 technicians

· Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair diagnostic and life-support devices

· Maintain accurate service records and documentation

· Interpret schematics and vendor info to service a wide range of equipment
