100% Remote Java SDET

Summit Human Capital is seeking a 100% Remote Java SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) for a top automated supply chain company who is passionate about bringing automation to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Possess 4-10 years of experience working as a Java Developer with a primary focus on backend Java development • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or similar engineering degree • Several years’ experience working with Selenium as the automated testing tool of choice • Several years’ experience working in an Agile environment

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins • Experience with Junit • Experience working in the automated materials handling space

• Effectively collaborate in small team sizes of no more than five Associates on specified projects • Participate in customer workshops; interpret requirements and technical specifications and develop test cases and test plans accordingly • Work autonomously at customer work-sites when required and will work from time to time simultaneously on multiple engagements • Ability to both participate on testing activities and also lead test activities for a project and strive to become a SME in different aspects of product development. • Scope out and create software testing estimates for projects
