SCADA Engineer

Required:

• 5+ years of experience with SCADA engineering
• 3+ years of experience with Networking such as routers, switches, and firewalls
• MUST have a Bachelors in Engineering discipline (prefer Electrical or Computer)
• Experience 1 of the 2 following programming languages:
  • Structured Text (ST)
  • SEL RTAC

Responsibilities:

• Develop, configure, and start up automated systems that enable transfer switching, grid operations (including voltage and frequency regulation), and overall site management.
• Connect new measurement devices to supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) platforms to ensure smooth integration.
• Upgrade legacy SCADA infrastructures with modernized, standardized, and more reliable solutions.
• Produce detailed documentation outlining how technical issues were diagnosed and resolved.
• Oversee internal and vendor-provided SCADA overlays, coordinating with suppliers as needed to maintain system reliability.
• Provide oversight and support for energy management system (EMS)
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues at facilities and centralized monitoring systems
• Participate in a rotating schedule to provide round-the-clock incident response and ticket handling for SCADA-related emergencies.
