Senior Project Manager –

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to support our client in the public sector with a high-impact Financial Management System replacement initiative. This position has the exciting opportunity to lead a complex, multi-workstream project integrating financial management systems across several platforms and applications. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

· Proven experience overseeing large-scale Financial Management System replacement projects.

· Strong background in budgeting, project planning, and resource allocation.

· Ability to coordinate vendors, consultants, and internal business/IT staff.

· Experience managing project deadlines, risks, and stakeholder relationships.

· Familiarity with project management practices and governance requirements.

· Demonstrated ability to facilitate multi-disciplinary teams and resolve technical issues.

Desired:

· Experience with procurement processes, including RFPs and statements of work

· Background in integrating financial systems with multiple platforms/applications

· Previous work in public sector or government environments

Responsibilities:

· Lead planning and implementation of Financial Management System replacement project.

· Coordinate and oversee development of proposals, statements of work, and RFP responses.

· Manage and support project teams, ensuring accountability and removing roadblocks.

· Track and communicate project progress, including schedule, cost, and risk metrics.

· Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal technology leads to incorporate best practices.

· Develop and maintain project budgets, plans, schedules, and resource allocation.

· Drive consistent project delivery through the entire lifecycle, including transition to operations.

· Facilitate resolution of technical issues and oversee multiple workstreams.
