100% Remote Tier III Network Support Engineer

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated 100% Remote Tier III Network Support engineer to support our client in the IT Managed Services Provider environment. This is a 6-month contract to hire engagement supporting a local, family-owned IT solutions organization. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

• Someone with at least 3 years of experience working in IT support • Experience working with Windows Server 2019 • Experience working with Office 365 and other Microsoft-related technologies • Ability to travel about 5% of the time • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills

Desired:

• Experience using VMware or other virtualization tools • Vendor management experience • MCSA or MCSE certifications • Experience working with and troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange • Background in IT Security

Responsibilities:

• Focus on providing high-quality phone/remote support and remediation services • Monitor, respond to, and resolve requests for technical assistance received through the TAC, as well as tickets which are escalated to us from our 3rd party RMM/NOC provider • Assist with training and mentoring of Tier 1-2 Engineers • Assist with management of 3rd party RMM/NOC providers • Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned • Assist with management of 3rd party RMM/NOC providers • Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned
