Summit Human Capital is seeking a Helpdesk Engineer to help provide technical support for a national logistics client in Richmond, VA. This position is highly visible and will be working with a large array of systems and technical tools to solve and troubleshoot complex problems. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

• 1 year + of technical troubleshooting/customer service experience • 1 year + of call center experience • Ability to troubleshoot complex software programs and applications • Ability to communicate with stakeholders and document all findings • Received an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent

Desired:

• Ability to prioritize tasks while dealing with conflict • Experience building out full-scale IT verticals in other companies

Responsibilities:

• Identify and quickly resolve issues within computer systems, software, hardware, and technical business processes • Effectively use helpdesk ticketing system to monitor, track, and resolve various issues • Quickly respond to phone and email helpdesk tickets • Professionally communicate with users of hardware and software externally
