Java Developer

Summit Human Capital Government Services is seeking a Java Developer in Washington, DC to support one of our clients in the government services industry. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• 5+ years of overall experience within IT • 4+ years of java experience • Proficiency with Gitlab, AWS, and opensource applications • Experience with creating REST APIs • Current hold or possess the ability to obtain a Public Trust

• Write, review, and test highly functional code that works to achieve each projects end goals • Communicate with all stakeholders both technical/non-technical and internal/external on a high level • Problem solve and trouble shoot as necessary while using industry standard benchmarks • Create and consume REST APIs • Ability to work autonomously on simultaneous projects • Deploy technology that encompasses both legacy and cutting-edge technology
