Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Senior PeopleSoft Systems Administrator to support our client in Richmond, VA. This position is a part of their post-production support team, where you will work closely with developer counterparts to implement PeopleSoft HCM Statewide. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Requirements:
• Richmond, VA based
• 5+ years PeopleSoft Admin experience in a Linux environment
• Experience working in PeopleTools 8.57 or above and HCM (or Finance) 9.2
• 10+ years of experience working in large technical organizations
Desired:
• Knowledgeable with running PeopleSoft on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience with Control M batch scheduling Tools and interfaces architectures
• Working knowledge of PeopleSoft development tools including Application Engine, PeopleCode, and SQR
• Experiencing supporting PeopleTools components such as Change Assistant, Integration Broker and Elastic search
• Experience with major upgrade of PeopleSoft
• Experience with applying TAX updates, PUMS
• Unix shell scripting
• Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle databases
• Working knowledge of Disaster Recovery architectures
Responsibilities:
• Decide upon system specifications through working with team members and the assessment of workflow, needs of security, information, and access.
• Plan, define, install, and configure Peoplesoft systems and procedures including WAN and LAW networks, PC testing, operating systems, and server hardware.
• Monitor, tune, analyze and otherwise uphold Peoplesoft system performance.
• Troubleshoot any issues dealing with networks, hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Cultivate Peoplesoft security system based on the demands of the data and system.
• Contribute to client training efforts to certify our clients can effectively operate and manage their customized system.
• Collaborate with staff and vendors to develop, evaluate, install, and test software enhancements.
• Preserve accurate financial records and stay on target with budget.
• Keep professional knowledge updates with participation in professional education opportunities, seeking industry organization membership and reading trade publications.
• Secure company’s interests, research, and projects by keeping sensitive details classified.
