Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer (Python/AWS) to support one of our largest clients, a Fortune 125 with an impactful mission. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Requirements:
- 4+ years of programming experience using Python.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Desired:
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy serverless applications using Python and AWS Lambda.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable serverless architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing serverless applications for performance and reliability.
- Implement best practices for code quality, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, features, and industry best practices.
