100% Remote Lead SDET

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated 100% Remote Lead SDET to support one of our largest clients in the Fintech industry. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

· 7+ years of SDET experience, with a strong understanding of software development in Java and Typescript.

· Hands-on experience with AWS, including proficiency in Load balancer, ECS, S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, SQS, and SNS

· Deep knowledge of Rest API’s and experience in back-end testing using tools like Rest Assured or Gatling.

· Proficiency in testing UI components using one or more of the following technologies: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Rest Assured.

· 1-2 years of leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing projects and teams comprising 4 to 8 members.

Desired Skills:

· AWS certification or a strong commitment to obtaining one in the near future.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field.

Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement test strategies and test plans.

· Lead and mentor a team of SDET professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality software delivery.

· Actively participate in the recruitment process by identifying and hiring top talent to expand the SDET team.

· Drive automation efforts for testing, continuously improving test coverage and efficiency.

· Contribute to the development of automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools.

· Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with development and DevOps teams to foster a culture of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

· Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into testing strategies when appropriate.

· Serve as a subject matter expert in test strategy and application architecture, providing insights to optimize testing processes.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize testing efforts and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
