Position Description:
Seeking a Project Manager with extensive eDiscovery experience to join a team of legal professionals in providing support to the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington DC. Responsibilities include providing case support to DOJ teams (attorneys, directors, office managers, subject matter experts) and overseeing on-site personnel supporting the DOJ. Responsible for coordinating support during all phases of litigation as well as coordinating travel, recruiting, and onboarding activities. Demonstrated ability to manage numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing and eDiscovery support activities.

Successful Project Manager candidate:
Mange team of Amentum personnel supporting DOJ matters at client site.
Manages a caseload of over 20 cases, approximately eight to ten of which are active on any given week.
Coordinates with system administrators, technical specialists, administrative staff, project managers and directors to ensure timely and accurate completion of the Division's eDiscovery related activities.
Must be able to seamlessly work with DOJ staff, government, and contract vendors.
Works closely with DOJ attorneys, case teams, and Litigation Support leadership assisting and providing consultation on pretrial activities not limited to document collection, scanning, electronic files processing, database permissions, review workflows, and ad-hoc user support/training in Relativity.
Advises case teams in implementing workflows for all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM).
Meets weekly with case teams to discuss ongoing and upcoming requests and communicates proactively regarding anticipated requirements.
Serves as primary point of contact with the DOJ COR and Amentum management. Responsible for managing work product provided to DOJ as well as managing all issues related to the program.
Performs searches in Relativity as needed or requested by the attorneys or case team. Searches may be used for purposes including tracking, deduplication, workflow design, analytics, view creation, batching, review quality control and production sets.
Advises and collects requirements for data processing from DOJ case teams. Coordinates requests for data processing and ensures specifications are met.
Assists cases teams with review and production requests. Ensures adherence to review and production protocols.
Create and compile project narratives for weekly and monthly reports.
Will work with internal corporate resources such as HR and Finance to adhere to project and corporate requirements.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government clearance (Public Trust)
At least four (4) years of project management experience with a heavy concentration of eDiscovery support or progressively more responsible supervisory and management experience on major litigation support projects, including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
At least 4 years' experience using Relativity, with an emphasis on searching. Ability to provide desk side/remote assistance to attorneys and trusted members of the DOJ team.
At least 4 years' experience managing team of individuals with varying responsibilities including direct supervision of personnel.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications required. Heavy emphasis on working with Excel and Adobe Acrobat files.
Must be knowledgeable in Electronic File Processing (EFP) tools such as CloudNine LAW and IPRO eCapture.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Strong need to be proactive, organized, and detailed oriented.
Must have ability to multitask and maintain frequent communications with DOJ team members, Amentum personnel and other stake holders.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Case assignments may dictate adjusting schedule and possible overtime.
Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
Advanced degree or Juris Doctor (JD) is desired.
Relativity Certified Administer or other Relativity certifications is desired.
Hands-on experience with CloudNine LAW PreDiscovery, IPRO eCapture, or other similar software is desired.
Proven ability to communicate effectively to legal counsel and management on program updates, both orally and in writing.
Knowledge of TrialDirector and OnCue is desired.
