Test Engineer

• 14+ years of hands-on technical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• US Citizenship or Green Card Holder with the ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a security clearance.
• Experience with Selenium automation and manual testing.
• Experience working with Test Rail.
• Experience with Java and/or Javascript.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as sprints, standups, etc.
• Experience creating and executing test scripts.
• Experience with Jira.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 
Desired:

• Existing Public Trust.
• Previous experience supporting a federal health program.
• Experience with 508 testing or JAWS.
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience and/or certification.

 
Responsibilities:

• Join a team supporting a federal health program and develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes.
• Participate in and support an Agile environment.
• Independently create and execute test cases.
• Use Test Rail for documentation of test cases and results.
• Communicate with developers, testers, product owners, scrum masters, and stakeholders on progress and results.
• Maintain Selenium Cucumber test framework.
• Assist junior testers where needed.
• Create user stories and bug tickets.
