Sr. Software Engineer (Rust)

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated 100% Sr. Software Engineer (preferably with Rust expertise) to support our fully virtual client. This position has an exciting opportunity to support a highly-funded startup with some of the best engineers in the industry. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

• Minimum, 3 years of recent hands-on experience with either Rust, C, C++, or Golang
• Heavy preference for Rust, as that is the client environment; if candidate doesn't have Rust experience, they must be willing to learn and adapt
• Must have recent experience working in a startup environment.

Desired:

• Highly preferred experience with one of the following: OAuth, SAML, JWT, PKI
• Cloud experience (any cloud provider)

Responsibilities:

• Develop new applications; maintain and enhance existing applications by troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills.
