100% Remote Senior Data Engineer

Our Fortune 125 client is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer for one of their groundbreaking products with an impactful mission. This role will be 100% remote with a long-term vision and stability.

Must Have Tech Skills:

• Experience: 5–10 years as an AWS-Based Data Engineer

• AWS Services: Strong hands-on experience with EMR, Glue, EC2, and Lambda.

• Programming & Data Processing: Proficiency in PySpark and Python.

• Data Pipeline Development: Proven experience building new data pipelines (not just refactoring or modernizing existing ones)

• DevOps Tools: Familiarity with GitHub or Bitbucket for version control and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership & Leadership – Take full ownership of stories and tasks, with the potential to grow into a technical lead role.

• Hands-On Expertise – Serve as an independent contributor (IC) with deep hands-on experience in data engineering.

• Strong Communication Skills – Effectively communicate with both technical teams and business stakeholders as needed.

• Proactive Mindset – A go-getter who takes initiative rather than waiting for direction.

• Pipeline Development & Optimization – Work on a mix of legacy data pipelines and the development of new ones, ensuring optimal performance through tuning and enhancements.
