Sr. Product Owner

Top Skills:

• 5+ years of experience working as a Product Owner within software development, data engineering, AI/ML, or cloud development
• Experience working with teams in cutting-edge cloud environments, preferably AWS
• Deep understanding and execution of product road mapping, backlog grooming, and product delivery from PoC through production
• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to take control of situations and make the best decision for both the business and development teams to achieve common goals
• Ability to translate and communicate business needs to new development teams to set direction and focus
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Responsibilities
• Defines and manages product roadmap from PoC to production
• Work with C-Suite and other senior leadership via steering meetings and presentations for product updates
• Manages the sprint planning process and participate in all relevant ceremonies (reviews of prior sprints, grooming, retrospectives, etc.)
• Understands business processes and procedures as they apply to creating state-of-the-art technology products
• Writes detailed functional specifications, user stories and product documentation
• Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather "buy-in” on products to help ensure long-term viability
• Partners with key technical staff to confirm the overall solutions meet business requirements
• Collaborates with the business stakeholders on all aspects from vision to realistic production usage of the product
