Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated JIRA Administrator / Agile Delivery Consultant to support our client in the enterprise financial services industry undergoing a large-scale Agile transformation. This position has the exciting opportunity to support the redesign and standardization of the JIRA environment, driving delivery predictability, governance, and scalability across multiple technology teams. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

- 5+ years of JIRA Administration experience (configurations, workflows, permissions, notifications)
- 3+ years of Agile Coaching experience across Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe environments
- Strong experience standardizing and scaling JIRA across enterprise environments
- Proficiency with JQL and building dashboards, dependencies, and reporting structures
- Experience implementing governance frameworks aligned to PMO and compliance standards
- Proven ability to coach teams at varying levels of Agile maturity
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired:
- Experience supporting PI Planning and large-scale Agile events
- Background in change management, training, or Agile adoption initiatives
- Experience with reporting/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Prior experience in regulated environments such as banking or financial services
Responsibilities:
- Assess current JIRA usage and lead the redesign of boards, workflows, and configurations to improve delivery consistency
- Establish and enforce JIRA governance standards to support auditability, reporting, and scalability
- Drive a 6-month rebuild effort focused on workflow optimization, dashboard creation, and process standardization
- Serve as an Agile coach across Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe teams, improving ceremonies, backlog management, and delivery practices
- Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine backlogs, prioritize work, and define clear user stories
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Track and report on key Agile metrics such as velocity, cycle time, and predictability
- Identify risks, remove impediments, and improve cross-team coordination and dependencies
The hourly pay range for this position is $54 – $62, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
