100% Remote ESRI System Administrator

Summit Human Capital is seeking a highly motivated 100% Remote ESRI System Administrator to support one of our Fortune 500 clients. This role involves deploying, configuring, and maintaining ArcGIS Enterprise solutions, with a focus on AWS environments and data integrity. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a GIS System Administrator
• Experience deploying and configuring ArcGIS Enterprise Server (which is also called ArGIS Server or ArcGIS Enterprise)
• AWS is highly desired

Desired:

• Degree in GIS

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and configure ArcGIS Enterprise on AWS (e.g., ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Data Store)
• Manage AWS resources like EC2, S3, and RDS for optimal performance
• Automate deployments using CloudFormation or AWS CDK
• Monitor server performance using CloudWatch and CloudTrail
• Perform updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity
• Manage spatial data using ArcGIS tools like Data Reviewer and Geodatabase Administration
• Troubleshoot GIS services and collaborate with end-users for issue resolution

The hourly pay range for this position is $60-70/hr, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
